Daily Stat Review app. Effective 23 October 2026.

This policy covers the Daily Stat Review iOS app. The free Daily Stat Review email service is a separate service with its own policy, and its practices are different. Where they differ, this policy governs the app.

The app is operated by Shukie LLC, a Florida limited liability company, 7901 4th St N STE 300, St. Petersburg, FL 33702, USA. Contact: admin@medboarddaily.com.

The app is offered in the United States and is intended for use there.

1. In short

We do not know your name or your email address, and what you do in the app is not linked to who you are. The one exception is access paid for by a residency program: your program then sees your name and your results, as section 6 explains. The app shows no advertising, contains no tracking technology, and we never sell or share your information for advertising.

What we store is what you did in the app, because that record is what the app is for.

2. We deliberately do not collect your identity

You sign in with Apple. When you do, Apple offers to pass us your name and your email address. We decline both. They are never received by us and never stored.

You choose your display name inside the app, a nickname you type. It does not need to be your real name, and we suggest it is not. If you join a league, other members of that league see it. League names are typed by whoever creates the league. Every name is checked when it is saved, and a name that breaks our terms is removed.

We hold no real name (unless you choose one as your display name), no email address, no telephone number and no postal address. The only identifier we hold for you is an opaque account identifier issued by Apple's sign-in service.

The exception: access paid for by your program. If a residency program pays for your access and you join it with its code, we ask for your name as your program knows you, so the people your program chooses can recognise your results. You type it yourself. It is stored with your program membership, shown only to your program, and never shown to other users.

3. What we collect

Your answers. For each question you answer: the choice you selected, whether it was correct, how long you took, when you opened and submitted it, whether it arrived after the day closed, and the clinical category of the question. We also record whether you changed your selection before confirming it.

What we derive from your answers. Your streaks, accuracy, accuracy tier, average time, your standing relative to other users, and which categories you are weakest in.

Your settings. Your timezone, whether you want reminders and at what times, and which version of our terms you accepted and when.

Your league activity, if you join a league. Your display name, your accuracy, your average time, and your tallies for the current season.

Reports. If you report a name, we keep the name you reported, the league it appeared in and the account that reported it, so we can act on it. Nobody is told who reported them.

Your program membership, if a residency program pays for your access: the program you joined, when you joined it, and the name you gave for it.

Feedback, only if you choose to flag a question. What you typed, the question it concerned, and the answer you gave.

Crash and performance diagnostics. Reports if the app misbehaves. These carry no identifier that points back to you.

Usage analytics. Which screens are opened and which features are used: for example, that a question was answered, a league was joined, or the subscription screen was shown. Never the question, never your answer, never your name. Our analytics provider (Google Firebase Analytics, configured without any advertising identifier) records these events under a random app-instance identifier that is not linked to your account or your email, and is never used to follow you across other apps or websites.

We collect nothing else. The app does not request your location, your contacts, your photos, your microphone or your camera, and contains no advertising identifier.

4. What we do with it

Only to operate the app: to show you your own record, to schedule questions you answered incorrectly to return, to rank league standings, to send reminders you asked for, to keep your subscription active, and to find and fix faults.

We do not profile you for advertising. We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We do not combine your activity with data from other apps or websites, and the app contains no technology capable of doing so.

5. Who else handles it

Apple authenticates your sign-in and processes payment. We never receive your payment details.

Google Firebase stores your account, your answers and your league data, and receives crash reports.

RevenueCat records whether your subscription is active, against your account identifier and nothing else.

Zapier, and only if you flag a question, forwards what you wrote to our support email.

Your residency program, only if it pays for your access. Section 6 sets out exactly what it sees.

Each of these acts on our instructions and for no other purpose. We may also disclose information where the law requires it, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights or safety of any person.

If our business is sold or merged, your information may transfer with it, subject to this policy.

6. Who can see your answers

Anonymous by default. Unless a program pays for your access, nobody but you sees your answers. This is enforced by the database's own access rules, not only by the app: a request for another person's answers is refused at the source.

Within a league, other members see your display name, your accuracy, your average time on correct answers, and how many questions you have completed. Nothing else. There is no messaging in the app and no way for another user to contact you.

Not anonymous when a program pays for your access. When you join a residency program with its code, we email your program director a summary of your results by name at the start of each month: the name you gave, how many questions you answered that month and the month before, your accuracy, your current streak, and your weakest topic that month. It does not include your individual answers, your settings, your league activity or anything outside the app.

Your program director may share that summary within your program, for example with chief residents or faculty. How your program uses your results is between you and your program, and we do not control it.

Your program stops receiving your results when its access to the app ends, when it removes you, or when you delete your account. To leave a program early, ask your program or write to us.

7. How long we keep it, and deleting it

We keep your information for as long as your account exists. Cancelling your subscription is not the same as deleting your account: if you cancel, your record is retained so that it is still there if you subscribe again. To remove it, delete the account.

You can delete your account at any time in Settings, without contacting us and without giving a reason. Doing so deletes your answers, your settings and your account, and deletes the sign-in itself.

If a program pays for your access, deleting your account also removes you from its monthly summaries.

One thing remains, and you should know what it is. If you were a member of a league, the row holding your league tallies stays, marked inactive, so that the standings other members earned remain correct. Your display name is removed from it, and it contains nothing that identifies you.

Crash diagnostics are retained by our diagnostics provider on its own schedule and cannot be tied to you.

Usage analytics on the device are reset when the account is deleted; events already sent are held by the analytics provider under the random app-instance identifier and cannot be tied to you.

8. Your choices and rights

Everything we hold about you is visible inside the app, because the app is a display of it. You can delete all of it yourself in Settings.

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, to request a copy, to correct it, to delete it, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law, and we have not done so in the preceding twelve months. We do not collect sensitive personal information as that term is defined, and we do not use personal information for automated decision-making or profiling in furtherance of decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

Showing your results to a program that pays for your access, which you choose by joining it, is a disclosure you direct. It is not a sale, and it is not sharing for advertising.

We extend these choices to all our users regardless of where they live, because the app is built the same way for everyone.

To make a request, email admin@medboarddaily.com. Deletion is immediate and self-service in the app, and is the fastest route.

9. Where your information is held

Our providers store information on servers in the United States. The app is offered in the United States and is not directed to users elsewhere.

10. Security

Access is controlled by rules enforced by the database itself, so a request for another user's data is refused at the source rather than being prevented only by the app. Traffic is encrypted in transit. Payment is handled entirely by Apple and never reaches us.

No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise.

11. Age

The app is intended for clinicians and clinical trainees and is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe someone under 18 has created an account, write to us and we will delete it.

12. Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. For any material change we will tell you in the app before it takes effect.
